Jayda

Jayda Holman is a 15 year-old singer-songwriter from the Yarra Valley.

She has been writing, recording and performing songs since the age of seven with her Dad’s children’s band act “Woody’s World”. This has enabled here to perform at many festivals (Woodford, Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Folk Festival, St Kilda Festival, Melbourne Recital Centre and the Adelaide Festival Centre).

Jayda is the duel winner of the ACMF national song-writing competition for her age group. In 2018 Jayda won with her original song “Take Me in Your Arms”, and in 2020 she won with “Rose Coloured Sky”.

In 2019 she formed a sibling trio with her brother and sister, and has performed at the Cygnet Folk Festival (Tas) and various festivals across regional Victoria including the Healesville Music Festival, River Folk Festival, Maldon Festival, Ecotopia Festival and Symphony 36. See article HERE.

Influenced by artists such as Kate Miller-Heidke, Missy Higgins and more recently, Charm of Finches, Jayda aims be successful a singer-songwriter and recording artist.
