Jayda Jean holman

Jayda is a multi-awarding songwriter, having won two national song writing competitions with the ACMF (2018, 2020). She has released two singles which have over 22,000 streams on Spotify. At a young age of 17 Jayda is an accomplished recording artist, having worked with Simon Russell from Deep Switch Studios (https://www.deepswitchstudio.com) and Damien Charles from Ghost Oak Studios (https://www.damiencharles)

Jayda began her musical career at the age of six. On her Dad's two kids albums, Jayda has co-written 9 songs and recorded vocals and harmonies for over 19 songs. She has toured the fist album with her Dad and two siblings for over five years to some of Australia’s biggest folk festivals (Woodford Folk Festival QLD, Cygnet Folk Festival TAS, Nation Folk Festival ACT and many more).

Jayda formed a trio with her two siblings called Amerlo and performed at local and interstate festivals. As a solo artist Jayda has been performing since 2019, supporting artists such as Daniel Champagne and having local gigs and residencies at venues and festivals in Regional Victoria.

In 2022 she crowdfunded $5,550 to record her debut album and stretched the Pozible target twice in the four week campaign. With this budget she is currently finalising her 7-track debut album, ready for launching and touring in 2023.

 

Ned Machin

Ned Machin is a 18 year old Victorian based independent music producer. Having grown up in the Adelaide Hills he attended the Mount Barker Steiner School where he did a year 12 independent project on music production. Ned was mentored by Ben Smith (Aka Temple) where he mastered Ableton and mixed his 14-track debut album ‘Purposeful’, which can be found on all streaming services under the artist name ‘ned.’. Ned grew up next door to his family's professional music studio (Forest Range Studios) where his sister is the in-house audio engineer. He is often present when she is recording or mixing bands and is her production assistant. Ned creates mellow, spacious electronic influenced music inspired by artists such as ‘Flume’, ‘Baker Aaron’ and many more. When collaborating with artists, Ned encourages the artist to discover their unique sound with a very collaborative approach. Ned relocated to Victoria in 2022 and is currently collaborating with Jayda on her debut album, producing “Tonight” and “3 am”.

 
 

Jake Calson

Jake is a young Melbourne based singer/guitarist studying jazz and improvisation and Melbourne University’s VCA. Jake has performed with the likes of Missy Higgins, Foreigner, the MSO and has performed in venues such as Hamer Hall and the Kennedy Centre. He particularly likes blues, R&B and Indie music. He is always looking for new performance opportunities.

 

Woody Clark

Woody is a Victorian musician, children’s performer and school teacher. He is the founder of Woody’s World - Music 4 Kids and Woody’s Ukulele School. He has produced two studio albums and toured throughout Australia with his family band since 2014, playing some of the biggest family festivals in the country. Woody has written songs for ABC Kids, produced community music events and worked with remote indigenous communities for over a decade. As a music educator, Woody’s Ukulele School has now taught over 8,000 kids and families to play the ukulele across the country. Through his latest show, Ukulele Kids Show, Woody shares his philosophy of inclusive family music making and demonstrates that every child can create music rather than consume it. Woody spent 6 months working with East Arnhem Regional Council in 2021, facilitating youth programs on Elcho Island. He is currently working on his third studio album - The Family Band.

Herzeloyde / R. S. Roberts - An innovative and experimental approach to production, Herzeloyde’s extensive discography showcases an eclectic blend of numerous styles and genres, effortlessly traversed with a singular uniqueness that continues to push the boundaries of electronic music. Continuously challenging expectations, Herzeloyde’s unmistakable sound has garnered support from an equally diverse array of artists such as Noisia, Mr Carmack, A-Trak, AlunaGeorge and many more. Remaining steadfast in his artistic independence Herzeloyde’s prolific output has also caught the attention of industry stalwarts including triple J, Soulection Radio, Fool’s Gold, Kitsuné, Majestic Casual and more. Laser-focused on honing his craft, the young Melburnian is poised to continue his unrelenting rise into 2022 and beyond. For Jayda’s album Herzeloyde is producing What Has Been Left”

Simon Russel - In 2007 Simon started up Deep Switch Studio, and continued to record and produce Melbourne artists. Around 2010 he moved from playing in, to mixing The Red Eyes, and soon after started working with indie folk band Husky as sound engineer and tour manager. Simon is now an in-demand engineer and has worked live and in the studio with bands such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Human Face, The Melodics, Husky and Jess Paige, while recording and gigging his own music as a singer / songwriter, and with the band The Killdeers. Simon recorded and mixed some of Jayda’s new songs.


Damien Charles- Damien Charles is a consummate music producer and sound engineer who has worked with Grammy Award winning artist Gotye (Wally de Backer), and Grammy Award nominees Hiatus Kaiyote. The breadth of Damien’s experience is astonishing. He has worked with acts such as The Cat Empire, Gotye, Gurrumul, Sneaky Sound System, Blue King Brown, Husky, Toni Childs, Tijuana Cartel, Kaki King, Secret Chiefs 3, The Basics, Hiatus Kaiyote, Coda Chroma, William Crighton, and many more. In 2020 he was nominated Best Producer in the Music Victoria Awards for his outstanding work on Coda Chroma’s Inside the Still Life LP. He is currently working out of Ghost Oak Studio Ballarat, on Wadawurrung country in Victoria’s goldfields. His current projects include production and mixing of William Crighton’s third LP featuring Rob Hurst and Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil) scheduled for release in the second half of 2021 through ABC Music.
